Welcome to my web page dedicated
all to chocolate. So if you love chocolate, here is the place to be!
There are lots of different types
of chocolate bars around, as any chocoholic will know, but they can all
be broken down into three main categories:
PLAIN CHOCOLATE... PLAIN CHOCOLATE...
PLAIN CHOCOLATE... PLAIN CHOCOLATE
The cocoa content for this type
of chocolate can vary from 30% up to 70%. It tends to be the stronger
variety and is used mainly in cooking as some people find it to have a
bitter taste which is disguised by the sugar in the cooking.
MILK CHOCOLATE... MILK CHOCOLATE...
MILK CHOCOLATE... MILK CHOCOLATE
The cocoa content for this type
of chocolate is a lot less at only 15% to 30%, this is because there is
plenty of extra sugar and cream. This is used mainly to make chocolate
bars in the sweet and confectionery industries as it appeals to a larger
percentage of the population compared with plain chocolate.
WHITE CHOCOLATE... WHITE CHOCOLATE
... WHITE CHOCOLATE... WHITE CHOCOLATE
This has no cocoa content at all,
it gets its flavoring from the cocoa butter which is extracted when
the chocolate is processed. It has a high sugar and fat content which makes
it taste extra creamy.
There are so many types of chocolates bars around, I think the best around has to be Cadburys Marble Bar, closely followed by Nestles Yorkie Bar with Honeycomb but who could forget the all time classic, Cadburys Dairy Milk.
